Gibraltar is not strictly speaking part of the UK

No regrets. Facebook was fun for a while. Then it stopped being fun, so I deleted my account. The others I either tried but never saw the point so deleted almost immediately, or couldn’t see any appeal and so never tried at all. Perhaps if I’d stayed on Facebook longer I would have regretted not having deleted it sooner.

I did buy one and I am still using it. It can do all the things I need a phone to do. Honestly if anything it’s still a bit too big.

I don’t know what I’ll do when this phone becomes obsolete. Get surgery for bigger hands?

It seems mad to me that it wasn’t more popular. Though a lot of things that are popular seem mad to me too.

Stumbled on my old iPhone 5S in the back of a drawer recently and could not believe how good it felt in my hand, even having only used 12 and 13 Mini models since 2021. What an excellent form factor and construction. Would happily pay a big premium for a modern version of it. Dreaming of a sub-mini phone trend. Sell me a $1500 Zoolander phone—not even joking!

The older phones didn’t have the screen extending all the way to the edges, but the size was ideal. And yes, Zoolander promised a future that never came!

In UK FTTC is called “fibre” and FTTP is called “full fibre”. I only have FTTC. To be honest it’s enough for my use cases but I will upgrade if FTTP ever becomes available.

In Ireland, Eircom, way back in the day, called ADSL _exchanges which had a fibre connection_ (versus microwave) “fibre-powered broadband”. This lead to confusion when they launched their VDSL product, and even more confusion when they launched their FTTH product.

Somebody did do the work! The System V AMD64 ABI definitely defines the registers for __int128, e.g. as first argument to a function it will always be rdi (lo) rsi (hi) and for return value it will always be rax (lo) rdx (hi).

Would that be the same ID card database that got hacked earlier this year? https://www.franceinfo.fr/internet/securite-sur-internet/cyb...

I’ve already visited all of them except Monaco, but not all in one go, just gradually across the years. Andorra I went skiing in, Vatican was a side quest in Rome, Luxembourg I just went for one night on a whim, Liechtenstein was a side quest from Zurich, and San Marino was a side quest from Bologna.

Oh and Malta was a proper holiday too, recommend the Lascaris war rooms, Mdina, and the boat trip to Gozo

Another fix for this bollocks

I have, numerous times, written significant portions of a various features within much larger products.
