Does it? It's seemingly one person on Github and the "community" is otherwise on Discord and Telegram, which is pretty sus.

I know what you are getting at, but I think that's an unfair characterization after all.

I don't want to shit-talk Ratspeak, but the foregone description of community and momentum seems far fetched. Additionally, the vibe is pretty off compared to Reticulum. Nothing here points to "successor" IMO.

That should be rewritten in Go instead of the dead-slow Python release under 32 bit machines.

Having Nomadnet in Go would be a great thing to have (and no more Rust dependency because of Python-Cryptography).

I barely am an amateur in Go, (and my C skills are among TCPL 2nd ed.) because C it's everywhere and it's almost "mandatory" to know, I'm far more proficient in Scheme and Common Lisp.

Porting Nomadnet is not easy task at all even with these nice TUI libraries for Go...

I find the article most charitable to the idea that AI generated software is a different category than human generated software. It's merely a dev tool.

Thank god there is at least one major platform preventing applications from doing this. I get in a perfect world this would be great, but we live in a world where we use apps built by corporations which do not have the user's interests at heart and their apps that we begrudgingly use are treated as practically antagonistic.

They don't allow general purpose software interpreters on their platform for the purpose of distributing apps. This is not new. AI adds nothing meaningful here.
