You'll have AI attorneys? Hello??

I thought it was a joke and I laughed out loud

> Say what you will about LLM-generated code, but stories like this give me hope that software will never be as buggy as it once was.

Stories like these is what I now call 'Marketing slop'

And corporate scrapers never ever use proxy pools to rotate IPs to evade throttling and blacklisting. Meta is also scraping illegal content, such as pirated books. So I'm not sure what your argument is.

The difference here is that the scientific papers he downloaded weren't freely available to the public, like those scraped webpages would be. Corporate scrapers have been sued[0] in the past for scraping pages from behind a login page / paywall.

Neither are the pirated books Meta is using for model training.

I totally agree with you, and didn't mean to endorse that.

> My Eng lead has no coding experience, 25 years of management experience, yet has driven 3 separate projects into technical bankruptcy to date.

This is C-suite material.

> What makes you think so?

Your resident propagandists like Solovyov, Dugin and Medvedev are very explicit about invading former warsaw pact countries when they're not threatening Europe with nukes.

> Previous wars with Russia were obnoxious with very bad consequences

They didn't teach you about the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact in your russian school? Of course not, it doesn't fit the great patriotic war narrative. It's about that time when your country's leadership was friendly with the nazis and decided to split eastern europe between themselves.

Look, a picture of stalin shaking hands with a nazi: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/38/Bundesar...

> rebuild Ukrainian army for the next round

There's going to be a next round? Have russians lost all sense of what's embarrassing? Is one ass-kicking with 500k fatalities and an economy held together by nabiullina duct tape not enough? I guess russia just needs to collapse every 100 years..

> I've seen a lot of bloat, corruption, & massive inefficiency.

Been working for more than 20 years in corporations and I've seen the same.

> western demands that encroached on Russia's sphere of influence

What a horribly reductive and downright insulting view of Eastern European politics.

> independent and united Europe, with Russia a part of it

Is this some sort of joke? The biggest enemy of Civilized Europe was, is and always will be a Russian state with imperial ambitions. Read a damn history book.

It's called Dingleberries
