According to Trumper forums, this is just a short spike that will be solved within a month by Trump's publicized Venezuelan Oil Conquest - black gold soon to be in the hand of US Corpo (North American Blue Energy Partners). Prices will drop very, very soon to $2/gallon. Trump has this well in hand and you must keep the faith with GEOTUS.
Do they though? It is often very hard to know with ads. My experience is that most people spending money on ads have no idea if they are getting any sort of return. Are there any studies that show billboard ads work?
BTW That why money off vouchers are so common with ads. Because this is an actual way you can check if the ad is working. Although there are confounding factors - maybe they were going to buy from you before they saw the voucher?
If you saw a product from a brand on a billboard on your commute, and a product from a brand you've never seen before, you'd probably be able to pick which one you've never seen before.
I might recognize a color theme or similar. I had a friend make a joke about a lawyer who was apparently on multiple billboards for years. The name didn't click at all, so he had to explain. I did notice later due to the joke priming me.
It's worth noting the distinction between the auth layer and the data layer here. Tangled uses ATProto primarily for authentication, but it departs from the standard PDS model by offloading Git storage to knots.
While that's a clever hybrid, Bitchat is aiming for a truly serverless, local-first experience (especially with the Bluetooth mesh aspect). Radicle’s gossip-based P2P stack mirrors that vision more closely. In this case, Radicle isn't "better" in a vacuum—it's just the right tool for a project that wants to eliminate mediating servers entirely.
