Does everything need to be moderated for "toxicity" with no freaking escape? Every hobby has become sanitized and changed by busybodies.
I've never been super-interested in multiplayer gaming and have usually preferred single-player gameplay so this doesn't affect me a great deal, but I know there's quite a few gamers who don't want their hobby to become a bland, sterile environment like the rest of the online corporate world.
I'm definitely not a fan of people who don't want to be abused being abused, so I do support helping them in the way described below, but I also don't want everything online to be changed just for them.
Why not split up servers by ratings? Anybody who wants a calm "non-toxic" experience can go on a PG server with full moderation, anybody who wants to experience the normal trash talk and insults can go on server R.
