The weirdness is how quickly and randomly those comments show up. Back when I used Reddit, I could mention some sensitive topic in a random place and there'd instantly be what I think are bots voting and commenting on it, sometimes huge comments with tons of links that looked canned.
Also it's possible those are from some insanely online people possibly running brigaiding groups on Discord, but that's not much better. It's best to be away from that. Let them "win" their online arguments against each other.
