I wasn't particularly concerned about the author proving that it wasn't faked, and more a litmus test to suggest whether or not the author is delusional. It sure seemed like the author had asked a magic 8 ball "did I achieve root?", kept rolling until they got a "yes", posted a picture the magic 8 ball, and wrote a blog post about it.
